Book Title: In Cold Blood Author: Truman Capote Category: Nonfiction Summary: This book tells the story of a well mannered Kansas family who is murdered with no apparent motive. All bound and shot with a 12 guage. While it is telling of the Clutter families last days, it starts telling the story of the two murderers. It intertwines the events of each going on at the same time. Sections chapters so that you know what each party is doing relatively at the same time. It continues through the murderers getting arrested, convicted, and executed. |
I thought Capote to use great use of imagery. He lets his sentences paint a picture
of what went on. I have no clue what Kanasa looks like except from the pictures
that were painted in my mind from reading this book.
This is actually a true story. I would insist anyone who likes classic literature to check
it out.
